Fishing on lk michigan remains to be excellant, jigging, trolling, casting and we also have been catching numbers of walleyes fishing up in Greenbay up on the fox river. Mostly jigging and casting on average we have been catching over 40 walleyes a trip in the 16 to 23in size. Heres a photo of a 26in whitefish we caught on lk michigan yesterday.

WE FISHED FOR WALLEYES TODAY UP ON THE FOX RIVER IN GREENBAY, IM NOT SURE OF HOW MANY WALLEYES WE CAUGHT TODAY BUT IT WAS WELL OVER 30, PLUS THREE WHITEFISH. MOST OF THE FISH WE CAUGHT WERE BETWEEN 16IN TO 23INCHES, WE CAUGHT ALL ARE FISH JIGGING.

We went out and did some jigging this Morning in the milwaukee harbor, We caught mostly Brown trout in the 2to3lb size and a few Lake Trout.

We went fishin for open water walleyes this afternoon, we fished for about three hours and caught 12 walleyes and one sauger. The walleye fishing is just getting started and will get better and better as the water warms.

Im no longer calling this fishing I am now calling it catching one fish after another, fishing was crazey good this morning, boy this never gets old with GREAT CATCHING LIKE THIS. And to be honest im not sure how many fish we caught and released today, but it was alot .

Today we spent the morning Jigging tha Gaps of the milwaukee harbor. We caught are fish on 4in Gulp minnows on a 3/8 jig, heres a few photos of the fish we caught.

LAKE TROUT SEASON OPENS MARCH 1

We still have a few dates open for the month of march for lake trout and Brown Trout and then getting in to April we will be going after huge walleyes on the Bay of Greenbay and its tributarys Fox river, Peshigo river and the mennomee river up in marinette. This is only going to be for a limited time for these huge walleyes. FISHING REPORT FOR 1-26-12

We had another great day of fishing and weather, today we caught over 20 fish mostly lakers and Brown trout. The fishing action at times was non stop trolling and jigging with gulp and a few other soft plastics.
Some of the bigger lake trout that we caught today were in the 15 to 18lb range and the Brown trout which we caught were in the 5 to 10lb range. The water temp this morning was 34 degrees.

FISHING REPORT FOR 1-25-12

We got out fishing on Lk Michigan this morning, we had to brake ice to get out fishing but it was well worth it. Fishing action was almost non stop, It was a perfect morning for fishing light winds warm temps what a awesome winter for open water fishing. This morning we caught mostly Brown Trout and Lake trout. Today was one fish after another as soon as we landed one fish and took a pic we has another fish on. This fishing should last to march, water temp today was 33 degrees.

FISHING REPORT 1-15-12

Went out fishing this am we fished for three hours and caught quiet a few fish, when we put the boat in this am we had to break through a thin layer of ice with the LUND. I had a very hard time keeping my hands warm due to neting and takeing fish off the line. The water temp this am was 38 degrees air temp felt like zero on the hands, but it didnt stop the fish from biteing. As the norm lately we caught Brown Trout and Lake Trout. Anyone looking to try some of this great fishing we have a few dates open in january, febuary, and march.

What a great morning of fishing and awesome weather, the fish we caught today were all caught on crankbaits in different sizes, colors and profiles. Today we had another great day of fishing in the morning and in the afternoon, lots of 2 to 3lb Brown Trout and lake trout. Just so everyone knows lake trout fishing is closed till march , but its hard not to catch them while fishing for Brown trout. Today we trolled mainly crankbaits the water was so clear today that you could see the bottom in 30ft of water.

FISHING REPORT FOR 1-6-12

Today I had a few clients from out of town, we caught some real nice Brown Trout this morning in the 8 to 14lb range. We also caught a few smaller Brown trout and a few lake Trout.
In the afternoon I filmed with John Gillespie the show will air january 14 and 15 on fsn fox sports net work and on channel 18 1030am sunday the 15 th. thats it for todays fishing report. I will have another fishing report sat afternoon.

Fished out on Lake Michigan this morning I took out a client that wanted to catch some Brown Trout casting Spoons and Crankbaits. We ended up catching 13 Brown Trout in a 5 hour trip, well thats it for today I will have a new report tomorow night

Fishing in the Milwaukee harbor remains to be very good for Brown trout, most of the fish were catching are being caught jigging with meat and gulp. We are also catching fish casting spoons , crank baits and drifting spawn. Trolling has also been very good with the large amount of boats over the past week the fish seem to be very spooky, so covering water and fishing different areas seems to be key.
