Chinook salmon fishing on lake michigan has been very good as the water temps have cooled some what, Salmon are starting to stage near the gaps and harbors.

Inland fishing has been very good also for panfish, walleye,pike and bass heres a few photos of some of the ten inch panfish we caught.

Fishing report for 4-5-12 to 4-7-12

We been fishing the peshigo river the last few days up in greenbay, fishing for walleyes. We have been catching lots of walleyes in the 19 to 23in class and a few 28in fish. We also have been catching a few pike and smallmouh, jigging for walleyes.

We had another great morning of fishing today we mostly caught Lake Trout casting spoons and trolling crankbaits. The water temps outside the harbor this morning were 46 degees and in the harbor were 51, with these warming water temps, the salmon should start showing up very soon.
